Damyn PinesThe boarding school of Damyn Pines was constructed in 1950 as a school for the gifted(athletically, musically, etc.) and intelligent. The founder, Leryssa Damyn, had created it for only the most elite of students, and for many generations, that was it's only goal. To produce top-notch graduates. It was a somewhat odd school, providing education for students ages 13-19, or 7th grade to College Freshmen. This seemingly perfect school was located in the remote mountains of Northern Colorado, next to a small town by the name of Heresville. Though, this fate was to be changed in the 2006, as a fire burnt the beautiful building to the ground and killed it's elderly head-master, who was, amazingly, the woman who built the place 56 years ago. And now everything was going to change, as her daughter took it upon herself to rebuild the building, add some modern touches, and add a new kind of talent to it....
Well, this daughter did rebuild the school, completely refurbishing the dorms and school from it's previously rustic attire. Atleast, she did this to the parts that hadn't been burned down. This new headmaster, at the age of a youthful 23 years, had an amazing amount of ideas for the school. She added sport and recreation areas about 2 miles from the school, on the only flat land around. Did we mention this new headmaster's name? Oh, well, it's Karen. Karen Damyn.
The accepted students had changed, as well. Now it was any family who could afford to go there, which was still an amazingly large amount of money. As well as any youths with the aforementioned talents, as they got a scholarship.
And we haven't mentioned this 'new' talent either, have we? Well, basically, it's a program by the name of No Student Left Behind. This program pays for all those students who families are dirt-poor. They can select any school from those that sport the program, and a full scholarship is provided. It also takes in, to put plainly, the students that have no other options. Those that have been kicked out of every other school within a thousand mile radius.
This?! At the acclaimed Damyn Pines?! Well, yes. Karen has always had a fondness for troubled students, so now it serves as a treatment center for those troubled enough to be sent there.
So with the addition of all those messed up students, the social hierarchy is in a state of emergency. The existing populars are constantly battling with the new rebels, and sometimes losing. Well, the war has to end eventually, right? And hopefully with as little bloodshed as possible.
... So which side will you choose? The somewhat fairer but significantly more dangerous rebels, or the rude and pretentious populars? Choose a side, make a stand. Oh yea, and,
Welcome to Damyn Pines Boarding School for Exceptional Youths.
